I'll admit that the idea for this project came from Scott Lawlor. Basically, I created 10 base tracks from which a variety of musicians will add their own material to these said 10 tracks. They can do whatever, add whatever even change or rearrange the order of the original tracks, which should provide some very intriguing collaborations. So, in my mind, it's only right that the series kicks off with myself and Scott.

This may well prove to be a very interesting project.

This record spans some of Roach's signature styles, like the percolating synths in "Currents of Compassion", the dreamy abstraction of "Prometheus Passage", the tribal rhythms of "The Gone Place", and the elegiac majesty of "What Remains".
